Supporting single mothers one Alfajores cookie at a time
Our business was born in March 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. Marcel, my youngest son was spending a lot of his time on electronics and I wanted to find other distractions to keep him busy since we couldn’t leave the house. Marcel told me he wanted to learn how to bake and I saw an excellent opportunity. Alberto, an Argentine pastry chef, taught us how to make Alfajores, a delicious cookie filled with Dulce de Leche. Alfajores are a popular treat in South America.
We started baking and God opened a door for us. With our love and dedication, we began to make and sell Alfajores to our friends and acquaintances, which was very well received. After many compliments, those gave us the motivation to expand commercially.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create working opportunities for single mothers. During my divorce process, I saw how single mothers had a very difficult time economically and I thought that the Alfajores were going to have a purpose. They were not going to just be a simple cookie, but a cookie to help single mothers and their families.
